OWWA ground water workshop set for September

Vaughan, Ont. – The Ontario Water Works Association will host a workshop to help ground water stakeholders make smarter choices for ground water systems through energy management; reclaiming or stretching existing infrastructure; or right-sizing the infrastructure at ground water facilities.

Information will be of interest to water system operators, supervisors, managers, consultants and decision makers involved with ground water supplies, the OWWA said on its website.

This workshop has been approved by the MOECC Continuing Education Director, and 0.4 CEUs will be awarded for completion of this workshop.

OWWA members who register by Aug. 29 can take advantage of the early bird rate of $267. After this date, the rate will be $333. It will take place at the Toscana Banquet and Conference Centre in Vaughan, Ont., on Sept. 29.
