U.S. judge dismisses two irrigation lawsuits; appeal to state Supreme Court likely

Cambridge, NB – A district judge has dismissed two lawsuits filed by water users against the Nebraska Department of Natural Resources. The lawsuits sought damages from lost irrigation water after DNR allegedly caused naturally occurring streamflows to be interrupted through diversion and ground water pumping.
