Aging water pollution control plant in Southampton, Ont. needs $13.7 million in upgrades
Odour, noise issues need to be resolved

Southampton, Ont. – About $13.7 million in upgrades to the Southampton Water Pollution Control Plant are needed to keep odours and noise under control at the aging facility. An environmental study report notes capacity at the plant needs to be increased to accommodate existing flows and growth for the next 30 years.
