
Jan. 29, 2018, Ottawa – The Canadian Apprenticeship Forum will host a webinar to demonstrate how companies are using the Canada Apprentice Loan program and discuss opportunities to ensure apprentices are aware of the federal program and other supports available to them.
The Canada Apprentice Loan supports apprentices registered in designated Red Seal trades complete their apprenticeship, the CAF-FCA said in a news release. Eligible apprentices can receive up to $4,000 in interest-free loans per period of technical training to help pay for tuition, tools, equipment and living expenses, to cover forgone wages or to help support their family.
The webinar will be held on Wednesday, Feb. 21 at 1 p.m. Eastern Time.
