BC Hydro commits $500,000 to cover costs of water treatment plant failures

Hudson’s Hope, B.C. – The cost of the failures of the water treatment plant in the District of Hudson’s Hope will be covered by BC Hydro with a commitment of up to $500,000. The money will help cover such expenses as hauling water for reservoir recharging, the cost of bottled water for the community, and various materials, equipment and miscellaneous expenditures.
