B.C. urges early water conservation after monitoring wells found below normal levels

British Columbia –With half of British Columbia’s monitoring wells below normal seasonal levels and shallow wells connected to streams predicted to go dry earlier than usual, the Ministry of Forests, Lands and Natural Resource Operations is urging residents on Vancouver Island and the Gulf Islands to use less ground water and rely on stored water.
