October 13, 2021  By Ground Water Canada

British Columbia – The B.C. Ground Water Association will host three virtual regional meetings this year packed full of information those in the industry won’t want to miss.

Each meeting will be tailored for the region of focus, but all of them will contain the following:
1 – A special session on Groundwater Licensing
Representatives from the Ministry of Environment and the Ministry of Forests, Lands and Natural Resource Operations will be on hand to update attendees on licensing and prepare them for what’s in store after the March 1 deadline. There will be an extended Q-and-A session on this topic. “We have invited local political leaders to join in on what promises to be a very valuable discussion for each region,” says general manager Dave Mercer.

2 – Updates from the BCGWA provincewide and in your region
3 – Updates on insurance, particularly changes to ICBC
4 – Supply-chain challenges and how they are affecting the groundwater industry
5 – Regional updates from the ministries
