P.E.I. – Third reading on a bill that would cover the cost of well water testing on Prince Edward Island has passed in the provincial Legislature. The bill, introduced in early 2020 by Liberal MLA Hal Perry, is meant to assure Islanders that their drinking water from wells is clean and safe for consumption. The bill means there is no cost to test for coliform and E. coli, at least every six months, and at least every two years for water chemistry. CBC News report | READ MORE
