Boil-water advisory issued in Gravenhurst following low fluoride monitoring alarm
November 29, 2021 By Ground Water Canada
Gravenhurst, Ont. – A boil-water advisory has been issued here following a shutoff of the town’s water access on Saturday. The advisory was issued after a low fluoride monitoring alarm sounded at the town’s water treatment plant. The issue was resolved, but a fluoride container hadn’t correctly been labeled. Fearing something other than fluoride may have got in, officials took appropriate measures to ensure the community at large wasn’t impacted. The advisory was scheduled to remain in place until Nov. 30. CTV News report | READ MORE
