Boil-water advisory lifted in Gravenhurst, Ont. after lab tests confirm water safe to drink

Gravenhurst, Ont. – The town’s boil-water advisory has been lifted after having been issued Nov. 27 by the Simcoe Muskoka District Health Unit (SMDHU). Testing has confirmed the local drinking water is safe for consumption. The advisory was issued after a low fluoride monitoring alarm sounded at the town’s water treatment plant.
