Boil-water advisory upgraded to do-not-consume order at B.C. mobile home park
High manganese levels found in drinking water

Fort St. John, B.C. – Residents of a mobile home park in Charlie Lake have been issued a do-not-consume order for their drinking water after the discovery of high levels of manganese. Northern Health had initially issued a boil-water advisory on April 29, but the order has since been upgraded. The agency has warned that boiling water can increase manganese concentrations.
