The consumption of bottled water is on the rise globally, and the United Nations suggests it’s a failure of governments to improve public water supplies. The growth of the bottled water market surged 73 per cent between 2010 and 2020 and threatens to stall the U.N.’s goal of establishing sustainable drinking water by 2030.
