Breakage at water station precipitates boil-water advisory in Chelsea, Que.

Chelsea, Que. – A preventative boil-water advisory has been issued for the municipality following a breakage at the local drinking water station.

While repairs are being made, residents are being asked to reduce their water consumption and to boil their water for at least one minute prior to consumption.

The municipality has stated residents may notice a cloudy appearance to their water as well as a drop in pressure.
