Canada’s water crisis cannot be resolved unless lands from which water flows are protected, says the executive director of the Manitoba chapter of the Canadian Parks and Wilderness Society. Speaking in New York last week on World Water Day, Ron Thiessen said Canada needs the support of Indigenous leaders to achieve its land and water goals.
