Canadian military sets up reverse osmosis water purification system in Iqaluit

Iqaluit – The city’s water emergency has entered its fourth week with a reverse osmosis purification system set up by the Canadian Armed Forces. Water drawn from the Sylvia Grinnell River will be available to local residents at filling stations, and can be used for drinking, cooking and brushing teeth without the need to be boiled.
