Canadian military’s operation in Iqaluit extended by two weeks with more personnel arriving

Iqaluit – The Canadian military’s water purification operation here has been extended another two weeks, until Dec. 1, and will be bolstered by another 12 personnel. Twenty-three troops have been in the city the past three weeks, engineering a reverse osmosis water purification unit to take water from the Sylvia Grinnell River and making it potable.
