Conservation group cites Colorado River as the most endangered waterway in U.S.

The Colorado River has been cited as the most endangered waterway in the United States, a new report states. According to American Rivers, it has been given the tag because prolonged drought, increasing temperatures and outdated management have sent the Colorado River to the brink of collapse.
