Damaged water line at Ucluelet First Nation triggers state of emergency in community
Weekend tsunami may have led to damage

Ucluelet First Nation, B.C. – A state of emergency has been declared here following a damaged water line that supplies the community’s potable water. Last weekend’s tsunami is believed to have caused a surge that led to a barge snagging the line, pulling it and kinking it, Ucluelet’s mayor says.
