Diesel spill said to pose little risk to First Nation’s water supply, but councillor not convinced
Smell is nauseating, he says

Sandy Bay First Nation, Man. – Although assurances have been made to suggest the risk to Sandy Bay First Nation’s water supply is minimal following a recent diesel spill at a nearby property, a band councillor says he still has concerns. The spill occurred on the property of the Alonsa municipality’s deputy reeve two weeks ago, but about 90 per cent of the diesel has since been cleaned up. The band councillor says he concerned the cleanup isn’t quite sufficient, adding the smell is nauseating. CBC News report | READ MORE
