Discovery of second aquifer in Waterloo Region can be used for heating and cooling buildings

Waterloo Region – The discovery of a second aquifer has presented the region with a unique opportunity. The upper layer aquifer sources the region with most of its drinking water. A second aquifer, located below the first, was discovered during drilling for two geoexchange projects in Waterloo. The newly discovered aquifer is being seen as a means of heating and cooling up to 65 per cent of the buildings in the region. The Record report | READ MORE
