Do not drink the water, Abbotsford mayor implores residents as more storms approach

Abbotsford, B.C. – The mayor of Abbotsford is telling its residents not to drink the water nor use it in any other way other than to flush toilets. The city’s floodwaters contain such potentially toxic contaminants as fertilizer and fuel, and the current state of its drinking water has rendered it unsafe.
