Drinking water in peril around world as earth’s major rivers continue to dry up

The world’s rivers are disappearing, and everything from shipping routes, agriculture and drinking water are being negatively affected. Accelerating climate change is among the reasons for the drying up of such major rivers as the Rhine, Danube, Yangtze and Colorado.
