Drought, high temperatures trigger brown water coming from Saskatchewan town’s taps

Assiniboia, Sask. – At least one local resident was caught off guard a day after the municipality issued a drinking water advisory. While washing her dishes, brown water flowed from her tap. She said she would never allow her family to drink the discoloured water, even if it had been boiled. According to the town, the brown water was caused by higher-than-normal sediment levels as a result of high summer temperatures and a lack of rain. CBC News report | READ MORE
