Drought levels extreme in parts of B.C., forcing strict drinking water conservation

Sechelt, B.C. – The lack of rain in most parts of British Columbia has put the province in a dire situation. The Sunshine Coast region has been enforcing stage 3 and 4 water regulations since late August, meaning a complete ban on drinking water used for lawn watering, car washing and pool filling. The region has enough water until early November if it doesn’t rain until then, the region’s director of emergency operations says. Global News report | READ MORE
