Dunk River pumping would have contravened Water Act regulations, P.E.I. civil servant tells committee

Chartlottetown – A permit that allowed five farms to pump surface water from the Dunk River, P.E.I., last summer, while water levels were dangerously low, would not have been permitted if the Water Act had been enacted.
