Eight-month-long drought warning comes to an end in Hamilton
Recent heavy rains and snow melt have streams flowing above normal levels

Hamilton, Ont. – A drought warning issued last July by the Hamilton Conservation Authority has finally ended after a couple of months of near to above normal precipitation. Agricultural, industrial and golf course operations had been asked to reduce their usage of groundwater and surface water by 20 per cent.
