Emails indicate City of Iqaluit debated health department over handling of water crisis

Iqaluit, Nunavut – A debate between the city and the territories’ health department, about how to handle Iqaluit’s water crisis, took place last year during the emergency, according to a series of emails between the two factions. Emails obtained under Nunavut’s access-to-information legislation by the Canadian Press indicated a series of questions were asked pertaining to the safety of the community’s water.
