Environmental law group says pollution of groundwater on the rise in recent decades
Ontario, Quebec, Alberta the worst

A Canadian Environmental Law Association review suggests both groundwater and the air are experiencing significant upticks in pollution in recent decades from more than 40 highly toxic chemicals. The toxins, which include asbestos, arsenic and benzene, are the result of waste from mining operations, factors and other industrial projects.
