EPA proposes limits to be placed on PFAS levels in U.S. drinking water
Agency says measure will save thousands of lives and reduce illnesses

The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency has taken measures to save thousands of lives and prevent serious illnesses by proposing federal limits on the amounts of “forever chemicals” in drinking water. The plan is to limit PFAS chemicals to the lowest levels where they can be detected in testing. The EPA suggests this will reduce exposure to PFAS among about 100 million people, thereby decreasing the number of cancer cases and heart attacks. Global News report | READ MORE
