Failure to provide clean drinking water to First Nations communities is ‘shameful,’ human rights group says

A published report by Human Rights Watch has highlighted Canada’s failure to provide clean drinking water to First Nations communities. The report noted it’s “shameful” that, as part of the G20 countries and having some of the world’s cleanest drinking water, Canada has still yet to provide safe water access in several Indigenous communities across the country.
