Federal government’s commitment to address First Nation’s water woes still has uncertainties
Dollar amount and timeline still up in air

London, Ont. – Amid much anticipation, the federal government has agreed to fund an 18-kilometre-long pipeline to enable the Oneida Nation of the Thames to access clean drinking water. Indigenous Services Minister Patty Hajdu, however, hasn’t disclosed a dollar amount for the project or when the work will be done.
