Feds coming up short in financially supporting First Nations’ water system operations

Ottawa – The federal government has more than enough money set aside to pay for water and wastewater systems over the next five years in First Nations areas, but it’s coming up short in helping First Nations operate such systems, according to a report from parliamentary budget officer Yves Giroux.
