First phase of Saskatchewan geothermal energy project ready to begin this year

Saskatoon – Canada’s first commercial-scale facility for producing electricity from geothermal heat is set to begin construction this year in Saskatchewan. Deep Earth has begun the first phase of the 25-megawatt power facility, located in the southeastern part of the province near the U.S. border.
