Fleming Drilling and Blasting students in the field

Ground Water Canada visited Fleming College to see what students in the Resources Drilling and Blasting program were up to.

Professor Jim Smith gave us a tour of the Frost campus, told us about the program and drove us down to the Scucog River to take in a core sampling demo. Enthusiastic students participated in all aspects of the job, from cable-tool operation to sample analysis, and shared their experiences with the program and plans for the future.
