Four-day virtual symposium coming in April for Professional Geoscientists of Ontario

A new topic will be presented each day of the symposium

March 21, 2023  By Ground Water Canada

The Association of Professional Geoscientists of Ontario (PGO) is holding its annual symposium on April 18, 20, 25, and 27.

The 2023 virtual symposium offers CPD opportunities accessible to all. Topics presented will be of interest not only to geoscience practitioners, in the resource industry and environmental practice, but also to geoscientists in training, student members, and the broader community, including other professionals, regulators, legal practitioners, government staff, advisory groups, and the public.

The sessions last for the morning (10 a.m. to noon) each day and have these themes:

  4. Qualified Person: Not Just a Pen for Hire (April 27)

Anyone interested – not just geoscientists, and not just in Ontario – can register for $25 per session or $80 for all four sessions, up to March 31. After that, the rates are $35 per session and $120 for all four.
