Toronto – The Program on Water Issues at the Munk School of Global Affairs at the University of Toronto will host a symposium on hydraulic fracturing in a permafrost environment.
“Fracking in a Permafrost Environment: Key Questions,” featuring keynote speakers Christopher Burn, Anthony Ingraffea and ground water expert John Cherry, will take place on Tuesday, March 1, from 9 to 12:30 p.m. EST at the Campbell Conference Facility of the Munk School of Global Affairs at the University of Toronto.

For those who cannot attend in person, the symposium will also be webcast live beginning at 9 a.m. EST at www.powi.ca, where a draft agenda is available.
