Groundwater quality gets good report, but Nottawasaga watershed still has issues
Wetlands are in decline and stream water is deemed poor in conservation authority's health check

Nottawasaga, Ont. – Even though its groundwater has been deemed “very good” in deep and intermediate wells and “good” in shallow wells, the Nottawasaga watershed still reports some not-so-good news. Wetland conditions were called “good,” but were in decline, and stream health is considered “poor” throughout the watershed, especially in urban and agricultural settings.
