Grundfos Canada to host Walk for Water

Sept. 19, 2013, Oakville, Ont. – Grundfos Canada is hosting this year’s Walk for Water.
The event is designed to raise money to build wells for communities in South and Central America. It will take place on Oct. 5 at Lion’s Valley Park in Oakville, Ont.
“Please consider sponsoring this great cause, or show your support by inviting your staff to come out and walk with us on,” said Simon Feddema, president of Grundfos Canada, in a media release. “Participants will be encouraged to start the 5 kilometre walk with a water bucket, fill it with water at the halfway point and carry it to the finish to experience what many must do each day to survive.
“We know we cannot quickly solve the global water crisis, but with your help, we can save lives and give communities in need clean, sustainable drinking water. Please show your support."
