Donald Toon has announced William (Bill) MacDonald as the new owner and chief executive officer of Heron Instruments Inc.
Donald will maintain a role at Heron Instruments as a valuable consultant to both the design and innovation teams and the new owner.
Heron Instruments designs and manufactures water monitoring equipment and sells the product around the world with the help of over 30 distribution partners.
“During this time of transition there is no better person to lead Heron Instruments into the next phase than Bill MacDonald,” the company said in a news release. “Bill is a proven leader with hard-core engineering skills, business vision and the ability to bring people together. His understanding of how technology will be used and experienced around the world is exactly what Heron Instruments needs as the company enters into a new chapter of expanded product innovation and growth.”
