IAH adds education section to website
December 19, 2018 By Ground Water Canada
The International Association of Hydrogeologists has added an education section to its website aimed at two audiences: the general public, and students and professionals.
The information, resources and links are meant to encourage the public to value water, including ground water, more highly, the IAH said in its December newsletter. The area also highlights ground water’s benefits and challenges, has a variety of classroom material, videos and experiments, and provides information about rural water supply and borehole construction.
For students and ground water professionals, the new section provides leads and resources concerning the basic and relatively unchanging principles of hydrogeology right through to highly specialist scientific investigations of topical and complex subjects.
