Impact of climate change up for discussion at this year’s Great Lakes Forum
Lakes provide drinking water to 30M people

This year marks the 50th anniversary of the Great Lakes Forum – a platform in which Canada and the United States work together to protect and restore the five Great Lakes. The lakes provide drinking water for about 30 million people or 30 per cent of the Canadian population and 10 per cent of the U.S. population.
