International summit on latest science for managing PFAS scheduled for April 4-5

Guelph, Ont. – The Morwick G360 Groundwater Research Institute has announced the PFAS-Σ-IT 2022, an International Summit on the latest remediation science for managing PFAS.

The event is being organized collaboratively with the Hydrogeochemisty Group, Environmental Chemistry Group, and the Platform of Environmental Systems at the Universität Tübingen and the Morwick G360 Groundwater Research Institute,  and will be held in a hybrid format (in-person and virtually) on April 4 and 5.

The latest research on key issues concerning the occurrence, transport, and transformation of PFAS at contaminated sites will be presented. A particular focus of the PFAS-Σ-IT will be on large-scale contaminated sites (Scale of the Problem) and possible solutions by new approaches and techniques (Scope of the Solution).
