Canadian Ground Water Week is being commemorated March 11-15, marking a week-long celebration and awareness campaign to promote the importance of groundwater and the need to protect it for future generations. Friday, March 22 is World Water Day which is recognized globally as a day to advocate the sustainable management of freshwater. Canadian Ground Water Week is sponsored by Canpipe and Pompco.
