It’s safe to drink tap water again in Iqaluit, Nunavut’s department of health confirms

Iqaluit, Nunavut – The long wait to be able to safely drink tap water again in Iqaluit is over. The territory’s department of health has lifted its do-not-consume order after more than 60 days of inconvenience to the city’s approximately 8,000 residents. The community is being told there may still be a lingering odour when taps are turned on, but allowing water to run for 20 minutes should solve the problem. CBC News report | READ MORE
