Kincardine’s drinking water system reservoir back online following repair period
Municipality relied on neighbouring system

Kincardine, Ont. – The town’s drinking water system reservoir is back online following a period of repairs.
With the system back online, water restrictions have been lifted. The water conservation order was enacted on April 27 and was elevated to Stage 3 restrictions on May 2.
The Stage 3 restrictions led to the Municipality of Kincardine having to rely on the Huron-Kinloss drinking water system.
Full repairs to the reservoir have been delayed until the fall. Another water conservation period is expected at that time.
