Medicine Hat, Alta. – Test results from a lab in Cincinnati suggest there are no detectable levels of asbestos in the city’s drinking water supply. The city was concerned about the possibility of asbestos cement fibres present in the water after the CTV network aired an episode of W5 which looked into Canadian municipalities whose pipes are made of asbestos cement. The test results were available 10 days after samples were sent to the Ohio lab. Medicine Hat report | READ MORE
