Lack of effective communications about boil-water advisory leaves resident frustrated

Invermere, B.C. – Efforts to advise local residents to boil their water as a precaution in light of a burst water main valve have been unacceptable, according to at least one person. The resident said the municipality should have made telephone calls to warn people of the advisory and not rely on Facebook postings to spread the message.
