Lake Mead water levels are dropping at an alarming rate, forcing significant water cuts
Levels expected to drop 12 feet by the fall

Boulder City, Nev. – Water levels at Lake Mead are expected to drop another 12 feet by the fall, officials from the US Bureau of Reclamation predict. The expected drop significantly exceeds what was predicted a year ago. By September of 2023, another extreme drop is anticipated to bring levels to 26 feet below where they are now.
