Longtime Ontario well driller passes away

Renfrew, Ont. – Longtime water well driller George Hamilton Law of George H. Law & Son Well Drilling passed away at age 85 in Renfrew, Ont., on March 17.

Mr. Law was husband of Sheila (nee Felskie) and by first marriage, the late Kathleen McNulty; father of Alfy (late Doreen) and partner Marlean Pasco, Ann (David Senack), Debbie (Allan Fougere), Bernie, Susan (Damon), Brandon and Justin. He also is survived by several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Visitations took place on March 20 and 21 and Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated at the Church of the Most Precious Blood, Calabogie, Ont., on March 21. Donations may be made in memory of George to Hospice Renfrew, and online condolences or donations may be made through www.gouletfuneralhome.com.

“The Ontario Ground Water Association Board of Directors and Staff send their most sincere condolences to Alfy and the entire Law family on the passing of George,” the OGWA said in a statement. “We can only pray there is a special spot for those hard working souls who spent their lives providing those around their part of the world with water.”
