‘Major’ water loss precipitates boil water advisory to be issued for 100 Mile House, B.C.

100 Mile House, B.C. – A “major loss of water” has triggered a boil-water advisory for the municipality.

The district is investigating the cause of the crisis and advises residents to boil water before consumption until the situation is remedied.

The water loss has led to contaminants, including dirt and sediments, to enter the water system.

Local residents have been told they may also have no water service at all until the problem is addressed.
